BUFFALO TRACE TO OPEN LONDON STORE AND NEW LIMITED EDITION RELEASE
Famous for Eagle Rare, Sazerac Rye, WL Weller, and Pappy Van Winkle just to name a few, Buffalo Trace Distillery have announced that they are to open their first-ever whiskey haven outside Kentucky… in London!
This cozy 2,000-square-foot spot will boast two inviting bars for tasting adventures and a fantastic shop brimming with whiskey and merch. The shop will open in late 2023, and tastings will start at £29.99 – you can join the waitlist here.
Jake Wenz, CEO and President of Buffalo Trace Distillery, is thrilled: “Buffalo Trace Distillery London is where our American whiskeys find a new home, right in the heart of the UK. We’re excited to share our love for bourbon and introduce it to new friends.”
And that’s not all! Buffalo Trace is also launching something special: the “Prohibition Collection.” These will be 5 retro-style 375ml bottles, supposedly priced at $1,000 for the set and they will pay tribute to whiskeys brewed during the Prohibition era.
The collection will arrive this this October, featuring revived classics like Old Stagg, Golden Wedding, Three Features, Walnut Hill, and George T. Stagg Spiritus Frumenti.
