The Cotswolds Distillery has been recognised as the most popular distillery in the UK by whiskey lovers according to The Cask Connoisseur. The recognition was recognised by assessing Google ratings, reviews on TripAdvisor and how often people talked about the distillery on social media.

Located in the Cotswolds, the distillery is known for offering interactive tours where you can see how the whisky is made up close. Found in 2014 by Daniel Szor, the distillery’s first whisky the Cotswolds Signature Single Malt came out in 2017. It went on to win a gold medal at the World Whiskies Awards in 2019 and got two stars in the Great Taste Awards in the same year.

In 2021, the distillery released a new whiskey called Cotswolds Reserve Single Malt which went on to win an award for being the best English single malt whiskey at the World Whiskies Awards, as well as receiving a double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The distillery now has a collection of different single malt whiskeys, including the Founder’s Choice which has aged in STR casks and was created by the late Jim Swain, a renowned whisky consultant.
