Indri, a single malt whisky that is manufactured in India has won the 2023 Whiskies of the World Award. The Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023 went up against hundreds of whiskies from well known brands all over the world over several rounds, before winning ‘Best in Show, Double Gold’.

Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023 is a peated single malt made with six-row barley (a barley that typically contains more protein vs a two-row barley that is typically used), before being distilled in traditional copper pot stills that were crafted in India. The spirit was then carefully matured in PX Sherry Casks for a significantly long time, all whilst under the sub-tropical climate of North India. This unique whisky brings out a myriad of flavours such as candied dried fruits, toasted nuts, subtle spices, oak, bittersweet chocolate and more.
