New Release: The Macallan TIME:SPACE Sherry Cask Jupiter

We are delighted to offer an exclusive first look at The Macallan TIME:SPACE Sherry Cask, a remarkable new release that celebrates a unique collaboration between The Macallan and Valdespino. As the first whisky influenced by sherry-seasoned casks prepared with The Macallan's own Valdespino sherry, this exceptional expression reflects a new chapter in The Macallan's mastery of wood and spirit. It deepens the brand's longstanding connection to Jerez de la Frontera, the home of sherry, while showcasing unparalleled control over cask quality and character.

Crafted from a richly layered 20-year-old single malt, TIME:SPACE Sherry Cask is matured in predominantly European oak sherry-seasoned casks, complemented by a touch of American oak. The result is a whisky of extraordinary complexity, revealing notes of sherry-soaked fruits, dark chocolate, cinnamon and ginger on the nose, followed by dried fruits, treacle toffee, warming spices and polished oak on the palate. The finish is long, smooth and warming, with gentle wood spices and subtle espresso notes.

Presented in the distinctive circular TIME:SPACE vessel, this release represents the third chapter in The Macallan's TIME:SPACE Collection and honours generations of whisky craftsmanship while looking to the future. With its compelling cask story, exceptional liquid and striking presentation, TIME:SPACE Sherry Cask is expected to be one of the most sought-after releases of the year. The product will be available online from 1st October.
