Benromach Triple Distilled

Benromach in Forres is Speyside's smallest working distillery, revived in 1998, known for small-batch experimentation within its 'Contrasts' range alongside its traditional core expressions.

Triple Distilled is exactly that - passed once through the wash still and twice through the spirit still, rather than Benromach's usual double distillation, giving a lighter new-make spirit. Matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% ABV with no age statement, as a limited release.

Nose: vibrant tropical fruit, malt biscuit, rich vanilla pod and toasted oak. Palate: ripe banana and poached pear, with green apple and sweet honey. Finish: medium-bodied and long, with citrus zest and a hint of soft smoke.
