Bimber Four Elements Water

Bimber Distillery is an independent single malt producer based in West London, founded in 2015, known for hands-on small-batch production and inventive limited releases.

Four Elements: Water is the fourth and final release in Bimber's Four Elements Quartet, drawn from a single ex-bourbon cask (#518) and diluted using Thames water to explore how dilution unlocks aroma and flavour - hence its lower bottling strength of 52.1% ABV relative to the rest of the quartet. Only 271 bottles were released, and this listing is now understood to be sold out at source.

Nose: pineapple chunks, mango and lemon alongside toasted cereal, vanilla buttercream and ginger. Palate: juicy pineapple, apple and pear with vanilla pod, custard, toasted oak, cinnamon and ginger. Finish: prolonged sweet fruitiness with sympathetic cinnamon spice.
