Glenfarclas 1999 25 Year Old Last Of The Millennium Cask Decanter

Glenfarclas distillery in Ballindalloch, Speyside has remained in the hands of the Grant family since 1865, producing a rich, full-bodied style matured predominantly in Oloroso sherry casks.

On 31st December 1999, the Grant family and distillery staff gathered to fill a series of casks — among them George S. Grant, who had served as Chairman for 52 years, and his son John, the current Chairman. It was the last time George visited the distillery before his passing in 2002. This, the fourth release in Glenfarclas' Decanter series, is drawn from a single sherry butt (cask #7516) chosen from the twelve filled that day, matured for over 25 years and bottled on 28th August 2025 at natural colour. Presented in a hand-crafted Glencairn crystal decanter, only 600 were produced.
