The 23 Year Old Grand Cru is matured in American and European oak before every drop spends an additional six months in rare French cuvee casks - the barrels used to age wine destined to become Champagne - lending new layers of decadence to this opulent, expressive malt. The nose brings baked brioche, lemon tart and white grape intertwined with vanilla cream and toasted oak. The palate is lush and silky, delivering apple tarte tatin, shortbread and white blossom, with the wine cask influence adding elegant depth and a delicately effervescent texture through to a long, sweet finish.
