Patrón was founded in 1989 in Jalisco, Mexico, and is handcrafted in small batches from 100% Weber blue agave using traditional production methods.

El Cielo ("Cielo") is Patrón's ultra-premium silver tequila, distilled four times — one distillation more than Patrón's standard Silver — for an exceptionally smooth, refined character, bottled at 40% ABV. The aroma offers cooked agave, lemon and a herbal touch of rosemary and sage; the palate is soft and creamy with cooked agave, vanilla, lime, green olive and orange citrus, finishing long and smooth.
