Tobermory 21 Year Old

Tobermory distillery has stood on the harbour front of the Isle of Mull since 1798, one of Scotland's most historic island distilleries. Its whisky reflects the maritime character of its Hebridean home, balancing bright, fruity spirit with a distinct coastal freshness carried into the casks by the sea air.

This 21 Year Old was initially matured in refill casks before spending a further seven years finishing in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, adding depth and richness to Tobermory's naturally lively character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cherry wood, brown sugar and caramelised pineapple, with treacle, hazelnuts, red berries, a little salinity and aromatic spice.

Palate: Rich, sweet notes of marzipan, toffee and sultana, balanced by warming ginger, sweet peel and a touch of leather.

Finish: Long and elegant.
