Familia Castano 2014 Casa Cisca

A powerful and elegant Spanish red from the Yecla region, made from 100% Monastrell grown in high-altitude vineyards. The 2014 vintage is rich and concentrated, offering aromas of ripe red and black fruits layered with notes of cocoa, tobacco and sweet spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with silky tannins, balanced acidity and a long, smooth finish. Aged for around 16 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels, adding depth and complexity to this bold, characterful wine.
