This method prompts a crucial inquiry: Can the classic Maker’s Mark whiskey mature longer while maintaining its renowned character? The answer is found in the limestone cellar at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky, where barrels are nurtured in a consistent temperature environment of around 50°F (10°C). This stable setting tremendously slows the maturation process, allowing the rich and fruity notes to thrive while balancing the subtle oak influence.
Maker's Mark 2026 cellar aged release consists of a sophisticated blend featuring three different ages of Maker's Mark’s celebrated wheated bourbon: 49% 11 Year Old, 33% 12 Year Old, and 18% 14 Year Old, all bottled at cask strength. This meticulous blending process elevates the complexity and depth of the whiskey, providing enthusiasts with an opportunity to explore the nuanced profiles of Maker's Mark.
