Blanton's Single Barrel

Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky is the home of Blanton's, the brand that launched the modern single barrel bourbon category in 1984 under Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee. Every bottle is drawn from an individual barrel from the centre-cut sections of the distillery's famous Warehouse H, hand-numbered, and finished with the brand's iconic horse-and-jockey stopper.

Blanton's Original Single Barrel is distilled from Buffalo Trace's Mash Bill #2 (corn, rye and malted barley) and bottled at 46.5% ABV (93 proof) without chill filtration.

The nose offers creamy vanilla teased with caramel and butterscotch, underscored by baking spices such as clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate is sweet, with notes of citrus and oak. Best served neat or on the rocks.

Please note that the wax on top of the Blanton's bottlings can be prone to cracking, and boxes can have small creases in corners - this does not affect the liquid inside.
