CRN57 18 Year Old

The Cairn Distillery was opened in 2022 by the independent family firm Gordon & MacPhail, sister distillery to their historic Benromach in Speyside. Set within the Cairngorms National Park near Grantown-on-Spey, The Cairn takes its CRN57° name from the distillery's location on the 57th parallel north, and its whiskies are built around Speyside's elegant, fruit-forward house style.

This 18 Year Old is the first release in the CRN57° "Foundation Stone" range, a blended malt marrying a selection of well-aged Speyside single malts from Gordon & MacPhail's own maturing stocks, bottled at 43% ABV.

Crisp apple, blueberry and candied citrus peel lead on the nose, with raisins, toasted almonds and brown sugar. The palate brings banana, milk chocolate and hazelnut alongside strawberries and cream and a touch of spice, finishing with fresh lime, mint and a hint of pepper.
