Founded in 1819 by the ambitious Adrien Bisquit and his son-in-law Paul Dubouché, this VSOP is a masterclass in the art of the "long-cut" distillation method. By extending the distillation process to capture the most aromatic heart of the spirit, the house creates a Cognac that is exceptionally rich and incredibly supple.
On the nose, it offers an inviting complexity of dried apricot and wildflower honey, underpinned by subtle notes of cinnamon and clove. The palate is a seamless transition into ripe orchard fruits—specifically pear and citrus—complemented by a surprising hint of tropical mango. It concludes with a long, warming finish that carries just enough oak influence to provide structure without masking its vibrant, floral character.
