The Macallan distillery, on the banks of the River Spey near Craigellachie, is renowned worldwide for its uncompromising focus on sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, producing some of the richest, most sought-after single malts in Scotch whisky.

The Macallan Double Cask 15 Year Old demonstrates the harmony created by marrying two distinct woods. Matured in a combination of hand-picked American and European oak casks, both seasoned with Oloroso sherry, and bottled at 43% ABV, the American oak imparts vanilla, honey and citrus, while the European oak brings traditional spice and dried fruit.

Palate: A warm, golden spirit with a creamy mouthfeel and a finish that is both sweet and satisfyingly oaky.
