After a mere 17 years of distilling, The English Whisky Company has reached a significant milestone by introducing a sherry cask matured single cask whisky to their core range. This marks a momentous step forward for the distillery, showcasing not only their exceptional skill but also the depth and quality of their maturing stock. The new Sherry Cask completes a must-have trio alongside The English Original and The English Smokey .
The English Whisky Company, based at the historic St. George’s Distillery in Norfolk, prides itself on using traditional Scottish methods of production, coupled with the finest local barley and water sourced directly from the Breckland aquifer beneath their site. Every drop of whisky is made, matured, and bottled entirely on-site, ensuring complete traceability and craftsmanship.
Tasting Notes:
Rich wafts of dark fruits , almonds , and vanilla greet the nose, leading to a wonderful palate of fruitcake , digestive biscuits , honey , and figs , with a hint of chocolate . The experience concludes with a long, sweet, and satisfying finish.

This annual release celebrates The English Whisky Company’s ability to consistently craft outstanding whiskies. The 11 Year Old is made using the purest Norfolk barley and distilled in bespoke copper pot stills before being matured in carefully selected casks to develop its elegant flavor profile.
