Ancho Reyes Original

Ancho Reyes is produced in Puebla, Mexico, a region with a centuries-old tradition of cultivating and drying poblano chiles for the ancho chile used in the region's cuisine.

Original is a chile liqueur made by macerating sun-dried ancho chiles in a neutral spirit base along with spices, then lightly sweetening. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Expect warm spice, chocolate and roasted pepper on the nose, a rich, slightly viscous palate of dried fruit and cinnamon, and a slow-building chile heat on the finish.
