The Macallan distillery, on the banks of the River Spey near Craigellachie, is renowned worldwide for its uncompromising focus on sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, producing some of the richest, most sought-after single malts in Scotch whisky.

The Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask brings together American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks, introducing a warmer, sweeter style thanks to the American oak's influence, bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose: Creamy toffee and vanilla layered with warm spices and candied citrus.
Palate: Honeyed sweetness, baked apple and butterscotch, with subtle nutmeg and oak spice.
Finish: Smooth and lingering, with soft fruits and a touch of oak warmth.
