Nc'Nean Huntress Malted Teacake Fifth Release

The fifth release in the experimental Huntress series, inspired by the Gaelic goddess Neachneohain. This series is all about that ethos, about discovery, innovation and Nc'Nean's ongoing pursuit of unique flavours in whisky making.

This release, Malted Teacake, is a fermentation experiment that takes inspiration from Scotch Whisky's past. The malty, creamy notes come from Nc'Nean's use of a yeast strain typically used in the brewing of Belgian ales. When matured in their house style casks, the result is a buttery, jammy whisky with a touch of minerality. 

Cask mix: 50% STR red wine, 48% Bourbon, 2% Oloroso sherry
