About this bottle

Henschke 'Mount Edelstone' Eden Valley Shiraz 2021 comes from one of Australia's most celebrated single vineyards, which was planted in 1912 in the Eden Valley, South Australia, and has been farmed by the Henschke family for five generations. Mount Edelstone is well-known as a benchmark for old-vine Australian Shiraz, prized by collectors for its remarkable depth and consistency from vintage to vintage.

The 2021 vintage is widely regarded as outstanding for this vineyard, combining real power with unusual freshness and lift. The wine showcases dark fruit and warm spice notes, layered over dense, fine-grained tannins, culminating in a finish of impressive length. This Shiraz is built to age gracefully over decades, though it is already compelling enough to enjoy right now.

This wine pairs well with a variety of rich dishes, including roast or char-grilled red meats, mature hard cheeses, and hearty game dishes. The structure and complexity of the Henschke 'Mount Edelstone' Eden Valley Shiraz 2021 enhance its adaptability, making it a superb addition to your collection.
