Henschke 'Mount Edelstone' Eden Valley Shiraz 2018 comes from one of Australia's most celebrated single vineyards — planted in 1912 in the Eden Valley, South Australia, and farmed by the Henschke family for five generations. Mount Edelstone is widely regarded as a benchmark for old-vine Australian Shiraz, prized by collectors for its depth and its remarkable consistency vintage to vintage.

The 2018 is a full-bodied, structured expression of the vineyard: dark fruit, gently spiced with pepper and dried herb, layered over firm, fine-grained tannins and a long, savoury finish. Built for the cellar, it will comfortably reward another decade or more of careful storage, though it already drinks beautifully with food.

Pairs well with roast or char-grilled red meats, mature hard cheeses, and rich game dishes.
