Old Monk 7 Year Old Rum

Old Monk is produced by Mohan Meakin, one of India's oldest distilleries, founded in the 19th century in Kasauli and now based in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It remains one of India's best-known and most exported dark rum brands.

7 Year Old is a blended dark rum matured for a minimum of seven years in oak barrels. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, it is built in a rich, molasses-forward style typical of Indian rum production.

Expect molasses, caramel and roasted coffee on the nose, a smooth, medium-bodied palate of chocolate, liquorice and vanilla, and a lingering, spiced, oaky finish.
