Aberfeldy is a Highland single malt distillery founded in 1896 by brothers John and Tommy Dewar, on the banks of the Pitilie Burn in Perthshire. It has long formed the malty backbone of the Dewar's blend, while also being bottled in its own right as a honeyed, orchard-fruit driven single malt.

This limited-edition 21 Year Old was matured for two decades in a mix of sherry and bourbon casks before its final months resting in Argentinian Malbec wine casks from the Finca Ambrosia winery in Mendoza — a collaboration between Aberfeldy's Malt Master Stephanie Macleod and Argentinian wine maker Matias Macias.

The Malbec finish brings classic notes of blackberry, plum and black cherry, layered over toasted cereal, sage and rosemary on the nose, with a rich fruit-forward palate.

Got it for my husband as a birthday present, arrived next day, really securely packaged and a fab presentation box. Also came with a sample as I said it was for a bday. 10/10 and he loved it!

This is one hell of a whisky!! Rich red berries, honey, creamy vanilla, toasted cereals and orange oils come through. Enjoying this a bit too much! Arrive very quickly too.

Cheapest online by some distance, arrived quickly and very well packaged. A heavy hitter of a whisky, really impressed.

Ordered Thursday and received it on Friday, had a chance to crack it open last night and it's a cracker. Classic Aberfeldy with a hint of red berries from the wine cask at the end. Will be back once I finish this bottle!

A really fruity and vibrant whisky, notes of blood orange, toasted malts, honey notes and an oaky dark fruit finish. Really liked this whisky.

Really pleased, arrived next day and a great looking bottle and lovely case, purchased as a birthday gift.
