Craigellachie 13 Year Old 70cl

Craigellachie Distillery was built in 1891 on the banks of the River Fiddich in Speyside. Its distinctive worm-tub condensers give the spirit a rich, meaty, slightly sulphury new-make character that has long been prized by blenders — and which comes through beautifully in its single malt bottlings.

The 13 Year Old is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural colour. The nose leads with vanilla, cinnamon and sandalwood over grilled pineapple sweetness, while the palate turns spicy with banana, cinnamon and a dry, leathery, tobacco-edged finish.
