Château d’Esclans 2024

Château d'Esclans is the estate's own eponymous cuvée, sitting above Whispering Angel and Rock Angel in Sacha Lichine's celebrated Côtes de Provence range — a rare, 100% estate-grown wine from the La Motte property.

The 2024 vintage blends Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino), hand-harvested in the cool of the morning and vinified in a combination of temperature-controlled stainless steel and 600-litre oak demi-muids, with bâtonnage twice weekly over eight months to build texture.

A full-styled, richly textured rosé with a smooth, creamy palate, a cross of freshness and complexity, and a long, mineral-driven finish; built with around five years of ageing potential.

Markus Del Monego awarded the wine 92+ points, praising its "well structured, rich yet elegant mouthfeel."
