Domaine Borgeot Puligny-Montrachet ‘Les Meix’ 2020

Domaine Borgeot has farmed in the Côte de Beaune village of Rémigny since 1903, now run by fourth-generation brothers Laurent and Pascal Borgeot. 'Les Meix' sits just below the celebrated premier cru Les Pucelles, a stone's throw from Puligny-Montrachet's Grand Crus.

The 2020 vintage is 100% Chardonnay from vines averaging 50 years old, grown on silty, gravel and calcareous clay soils at 230–250 metres, raised in French oak.

Concentrated citrus curd and white peach are framed by toasted brioche and hazelnut from the oak, while a steely, mineral-driven acidity gives a long, crystalline finish — a genuinely world-class Chardonnay.
