Far Mountain 2020 ‘Myrna’ Sonoma Valley Chardonnay

Far Mountain is a small California winery producing site-specific Chardonnay from Sonoma Valley, with the 'Myrna' bottling representing a concentrated, structured expression shaped by each vintage.

The 2020 'Myrna' Chardonnay was made from fruit grown in Sonoma Valley during a warmer-than-average season, which brought greater phenolic ripeness, density and textural richness to the wine.

Layers of toast, almond and a hint of wood smoke sit over Bosc pear, fennel and marzipan, with lifted stone-fruit and lime aromatics, bright acidity, salinity and a long, persistent finish.

Wine Enthusiast awarded the wine 94 points; Wine Spectator scored it 92 points.
