Benromach Peat Smoke

Benromach, based in Forres, is Speyside's smallest working distillery, revived in 1998 and known for small-batch whisky that balances fruit-forward character with smoke - unusual for the region.

Peat Smoke is made from heavily peated barley (57ppm phenol), matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% ABV with no age statement, as part of Benromach's 'Contrasts' range. This listing is bottle only, with no gift box available.

Nose: rich smoke, fragrant vanilla, light citrus zest, apple and white chocolate. Palate: toasted oak, honey, sweet ripe fruit, butterscotch, marshmallow and lemon sherbet alongside sweet smoke. Finish: mouth-coating sweetness and bonfire embers.
