Indri is made by Piccadily Distilleries in the town of Indri, Haryana, in the foothills of the Himalayas. The distillery uses indigenous six-row Indian barley, distilled in traditional copper pot stills, and the hot Indian climate means the spirit matures quickly and intensely in cask. The name Indri comes from the Sanskrit for the five senses — smell, taste, touch, sight and sound.

Trini, meaning "three", is matured in three different cask types: ex-bourbon American oak, ex-French red wine casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Master Blender Surrinder Kumar created it to let the influence of each wood shine through, giving a whisky that is fruity, sweet and gently spiced, with a subtle nutty note. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
