The Specogna family has long been a guardian of Friulian tradition, and their 2019 Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is a masterclass in regional identity. Refosco is known for its intense, almost electric personality, and this vintage delivers exactly that with a deep, violet-hued pour. The aromatics are a wild tumble of bramble fruit, sour cherry, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, there is a striking balance between its natural, lip-smacking acidity and a dense core of dark fruit.
