Bowmore is Islay's oldest licensed distillery, founded in 1779 on the shores of Loch Indaal. Whisky here matures in the legendary No.1 Vaults, the oldest whisky warehouse in Scotland, giving Bowmore its distinctive maritime character balanced against the distillery's signature gentle peat smoke.

Matured for over three decades in a combination of American oak ex-Bourbon casks and Sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads — with a portion benefiting from an extended finish in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks — the Bowmore 30 Year Old 2023 Release is bottled at 45.9% ABV. This annual limited release, capped at 2,565 bottles worldwide, represents the pinnacle of the distillery's legendary history.

Nose: rich heather honey, sun-ripened bananas and velvety toasted butterscotch, with grilled tropical fruit notes.

Palate: a brilliant explosion of tropical fruits, sweet mango and caramelised pineapple intertwined with a gentle whisper of classic Islay peat smoke.

Finish: exceptionally long-lasting, warm and lingering, with ripe orchard fruit notes and a sweet, oily texture.
