About this bottle

Bowmore 30 Year Old 2023 Release is an exquisite single malt Scotch whisky that transcends time. This special edition embodies the rich tradition of Bowmore, Islay's oldest licensed distillery, which has been crafting exceptional whisky since 1779. The whisky matures in the legendary No.1 Vaults, the oldest whisky warehouse in Scotland, which imparts a unique maritime character balanced with gentle peat smoke.

Having matured for over three decades, the Bowmore 30 Year Old 2023 Release is a result of a meticulous aging process in a combination of American oak ex-Bourbon casks and Sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads. Additionally, a portion of this limited release benefits from an extended finish in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks, adding depth and complexity to the flavor profile. Bottled at an impressive 45.9% ABV, this release is capped at just 2,565 bottles worldwide, making it a coveted collector’s item.

This harmonious blend reflects the exceptional skill and craftsmanship that has become synonymous with the Bowmore name.

Whether you are a whisky connoisseur or a newcomer, this release is an invitation to explore the pinnacle of Islay's whisky heritage.

Picked it up at a great price and arrived quickly. Not drinking it as keeping it as an investment... or if something goes really well!
