Fettercairn 2011 Carn Mor 10 Year Old

Fettercairn is one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, founded in 1824 beneath the Grampian mountains in Aberdeenshire. Its unique copper cooling ring, which drenches the stills in cold water during distillation, produces a notably light, fruit-forward spirit that defines the distillery's Highland house style.

This expression was distilled at Fettercairn in 2011 and matured for 10 years in a bourbon barrel before being bottled by independent merchant Càrn Mòr for its Strictly Limited series (Morrison & Mackay). It is bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered, from a single limited outturn.

Fresh stone fruits and vanilla lead the nose, with a light crush of white pepper adding gentle spice on the palate.
