Fettercairn is one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, founded in 1824 beneath the Grampian mountains in Aberdeenshire. The distillery is renowned for its unique copper cooling ring, which drenches the stills in cold water during distillation. This innovative technique produces a notably light, fruit-forward spirit, defining the distillery's Highland house style. This particular expression of Fettercairn whisky was distilled in 2011 and has matured for a decade in a bourbon barrel. It has been expertly bottled by the independent merchant Càrn Mòr as part of their Strictly Limited series (Morrison & Mackay). Each bottle is presented at natural color and is non-chill filtered, coming from a single limited outturn.
