Laphroaig is one of Islay's most iconic distilleries, founded in 1815 on the island's south shore. Renowned for its intensely peated, medicinal and maritime house style - built on heavily peated malt, floor-malted on site and matured overlooking the sea - Laphroaig has held a Royal Warrant since 1994.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength - Batch 17 is a bold, uncompromising expression bottled straight from the cask at 58.3% ABV with minimal filtration to preserve its raw character. Matured for a full decade in American oak ex-bourbon casks, this limited batch showcases the heart of Laphroaig's legendary peat-rich style.

Nose: A vibrant, sweet and smoky fusion of candied apple, crème brûlée and sugared pastry underpinned by classic Islay peat smoke.
Palate: Lush stewed apple, vanilla cream and pears in syrup, evolving into a briny rush of sea salt, smoky peat, crisp seaweed and cooling menthol.
Finish: Long, with black pepper spice, antique leather and sweet grassy smoke fading into lingering tarry peat.
