Spirit of Scotland 46 Year Old Legacy Collection

Spirit of Scotland is a rare 46 Year Old whisky from House of Hazelwood, the independent whisky house of the Gordon family behind Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Grant’s. It was originally blended in 1994 by the Gordon family to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the first recorded reference to Scotch whisky, which appears in the Exchequer Rolls of 1494, before resting for a further 28 years in cask.

This grand, traditional spirit serves as a liquid map of the golden age of distilling, capturing the heart of the Highlands and Speyside as they were decades ago. It carries the scent of heather, old library books and dried fruits — a bridge to a mid-century distilling style that has largely disappeared from the modern market. On the palate expect refreshing lemon, vanilla and gentle smoke. Limited to 528 bottles.
