Hailing from Salento in Puglia, the "heel" of Italy, 'I Muri' takes its name from the traditional dry stone walls (muri a secco) that border the region's vineyards — built from the same limestone that underpins this wine's character.
The 2023 vintage is a blend of Chardonnay, Malvasia Bianca and Verdeca, gently pressed and fermented at low temperature in stainless steel, then rested briefly on lees to build texture.
Expect ripe white-fleshed fruit — peach and pear — with orange blossom and a touch of honey, balanced by the zesty, citrus-driven acidity typical of Malvasia and Verdeca. The finish is crisp and clean, with a faint saline note.
