This exceptional red wine is made up of 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella, and 5% Sangiovese grapes. These grapes undergo the traditional appassimento method, where they are dried to concentrate the sugars and flavors, followed by a lengthy fermentation process and extended aging in oak barrels. The 2020 vintage was notably challenging due to the pandemic; however, the Allegrini vineyards successfully avoided severe weather disruptions. An extended harvest allowed for careful selection of grapes, culminating in fruits of remarkable quality.
