Gabriëlskloof Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Gabriëlskloof is an award-winning estate in the Bot River ward of the Overberg, South Africa, farmed on shale and clay soils cooled by southerly winds off the nearby Atlantic — one of the Cape's most exciting producers of terroir-driven wine.

The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is wild-fermented in stainless steel and rested on its lees for seven months, sourced from vines cooled by ocean breezes in the Bot River ward.

Green pineapple, gooseberry and quince mingle with a saline, oyster-shell minerality, while the palate delivers green citrus, lemongrass and lychee with a flinty, textural edge.
