Crafted by Michel Digioia—a dedicated third-generation winemaker who has managed this five-hectare estate since 1999—this 100% Pinot Noir is a masterclass in Burgundian elegance. The wine’s depth is rooted in the heritage of the land; while the village cuvée draws from several parcels with an average vine age of 50 to 55 years, certain notable plots like Les Fremières feature vines originally planted as far back as 1934. These old vines naturally yield low quantities of highly concentrated, intense fruit that far exceeds the typical expectations of a village-level bottling.

The 2020 vintage presents a striking garnet-red hue, opening with a vibrant, refreshing bouquet of red berries, blackberry, and blackcurrant. This fruit profile is often accented by the delicate floral signature of violets, a hallmark of the limestone-rich Chambolle-Musigny terroir.

On the palate, the wine is silky and refined, balancing supple tannins with a rich complexity. To preserve this purity of fruit, it is matured in French oak for 16 to 18 months, using only 20% new wood to provide structure without overshadowing the delicate terroir.
