About this bottle

Piper-Heidsieck's Code Rouge is a striking limited-edition gift set from the historic Reims house, presented in a bold red-and-gold collectible case styled after a vintage fire extinguisher, complete with the playful prompt "In case of Champagne emergency, break open case."

Inside sits the House's signature Cuvée Brut NV — a blend of roughly 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, drawn from more than 100 crus across Champagne.

Bright notes of pear, white peach, citrus and orange blossom sit atop fine, persistent bubbles, with subtle toasted bread, almond and mint on the finish — festive and food-friendly in equal measure.

Region: Champagne, France  |  Grape: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay  |  Vintage: NV  |  Size: 750ml

I just love this gift set, it looks so fab. Nice bit of humour on the front too saying this is not a fire extinguisher!
