Viña Amate is a Rioja label built on a co-operative established in 1956, drawing on plots spread across different altitudes and soil types to deliver consistent, characterful Rioja from vines between 50 and 100 years old.

The 2023 Viña Amate Rioja Tinto is crafted from 100% Tempranillo, a vibrant and youthful expression of the variety.

It presents a deep ruby hue with enticing aromas of wild red berries, tart plums and subtle spice. The palate is fresh and expressive, showcasing ripe red fruit flavours complemented by firm tannins and balanced acidity. Medium-bodied with a smooth finish, it pairs well with grilled meats, creamy pasta dishes or tapas.
