2023 Viña Temprana ‘Old Vines Garnacha’, Campo De Borja DO

Bodegas Aragonesas is the largest winery in Campo de Borja DO, in Fuendejalón, Aragón — a region often called the "Empire of Garnacha" for the prominence of the variety. Vineyards sit at elevations of 1,150 to 1,800 feet on calcareous, lime-rich soils under a continental climate with Mediterranean influences.

The 2023 Viña Temprana 'Old Vines Garnacha' is 100% organic Garnacha from vines over 25 years old, fermented with ten days of maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel.

Ruby red, clean and bright in the glass, it offers medium-intensity, complex aromas of spices and ripe red fruits like raspberry and cherry. The palate is smooth, fresh and fruity, with supple tannins and hints of white pepper.
