Alpha Zeta Corvina “C” Veneto IGT 2023

Alpha Zeta was founded in 1999 by Liberty Wines, working with New Zealand winemaker Matt Thomson to produce modern, fruit-driven wines from the hills outside Verona in Veneto's Valpantena Valley.

The 2023 'C' Corvina is 100% Corvina, hand-harvested from 20–30-year-old vines grown in chalky clay soils and fermented at 22–28°C with gentle maceration, aged briefly in stainless steel and concrete to preserve pure fruit character.

Bright, youthful ruby in the glass, this medium-bodied wine is defined by juicy red cherry and wild strawberry aromas, with delicate rose petal nuances. The palate is balanced and lively, offering supple tannins, plum and cinnamon flavours, and a refreshing, mineral-tinged finish.
