Bacardi Reserva Ocho 8 Year Old Rum

Bacardí was founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862 by Facundo Bacardí Massó, but since the Cuban Revolution the family-owned company has produced its rum outside Cuba. Today the great majority of Bacardí rum, including Reserva Ocho, is distilled and matured in Puerto Rico, at what the company calls its "Cathedral of Rum."

Reserva Ocho is matured for a minimum of eight years in charred American oak barrels and blended in a style inspired by the Bacardí family's original 1862 private reserve. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Expect dried fruit, vanilla and caramelised oak on the nose, a rich, smooth palate with warm spice, and a long, complex finish. Excellent neat, on the rocks, or as the base of an Old Fashioned.
