Barolo Pelassa 2019

Pelassa is a family estate based in Verduno, farming Nebbiolo on the prestigious San Lorenzo vineyard — a site renowned for producing some of the most elegant and perfumed wines in the Barolo DOCG.

The 2019 vintage, a strong year for Piedmont, is 100% Nebbiolo, aged two years in a combination of Slavonian and French oak, giving a savory, persistent finish alongside classic structure and aging potential.

An expansive bouquet of crushed rose petals, violets and forest floor gives way to leather and black tea. Succulent red cherry and raspberry are framed by firm, velvety tannins and the distinct minerality of Verduno's calcareous soils, closing with notes of licorice and tobacco.
