Only the finest 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes, sourced from vines older than 25 years, were selected for this vintage. The unique weather conditions in 1988, which began with a wet spring followed by a warm summer and a cool, dry harvest, contributed to creating fruit that possesses a classic and enduring structure.
