About this bottle

Bowmore 29 Year Old Timeless is a rare, cask-strength single malt from Islay's oldest licensed distillery, founded in 1779 on the shores of Loch Indaal. Part of Bowmore's prestigious Timeless Series, it was released in 2023 as a strictly limited edition of just 3,000 bottles worldwide.

This official distillery bottling marries sherry-seasoned European oak casks with ex-bourbon American oak barrels, all filled in 1991 and 1992 and left to mature for nearly three decades in Bowmore's coastal warehouses, including the legendary No.1 Vaults that sit right at the water's edge. The result is Bowmore at its most concentrated: deep sherried fruit and cocoa layered over the distillery's gentle, maritime peat smoke.

Bottled at a natural cask strength of 53.7% ABV, it rewards a few drops of water, which open up the cherry blossom, citrus and spice. Presented in its original Timeless Series box, it is a standout bottle for collectors and a memorable gift for any Islay lover.
