Canadian Club

Canadian Club has been distilled on the shores of the Detroit River since 1858, when Hiram Walker built his distillery in Walkerville, Ontario, directly across the water from Detroit. It is one of the oldest continuously produced whisky brands in North America, and its blend of rye, corn and barley helped define the smooth, easy-drinking style that Canadian whisky is known for today.

This expression is blended from rye, corn and barley whiskies before maturation in white oak barrels for a minimum of six years — a distinctively Canadian approach that lets the flavours marry together ahead of final ageing. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

The nose offers sweet vanilla and caramel with toasted oak, dried fruit and baking spice. On the palate, toffee and honey sweetness is balanced by gentle rye spice, light oak and a touch of citrus zest. The finish is medium in length, warming, with soft caramel and a hint of pepper.
